On Sunday the weather turned really terrible and we are currently stuck in the UP due to 65mph winds at the bridge which closed the bridge down. So we called the hotel where we were staying and asked if we could just come back and hang out for a few hours.

And now we’re stuck in another traffic jam. We’ve been at a stand still for almost an hour. No idea what’s going on. Ugh!!

Update: make that 2 1/2 hrs and now we are out in the boon docks with trees all around us just north of Roscommon.  The two really impressive pictures were taken over by Traverse City…Extremely scary storm.

When we got home I got out and took some pictures of the tremendous lightening.  Very little rain, still have power and had a little fun with the lightening cam while I unwound from the trip!
