I got the call that Mayo is going to take my case!!! Happy Dance! My series of appointments start on April 15th. Good thing I already filed my taxes. And a really good thing that my mom will be home from Florida and is available to drive out there with me. Now to start filling out headache questionnaires and gathering all of my medical files. Just hoping that they can get me some answers. I have my next apt at MHNI on March 31st and I really hope that they will continue with me as a patient even though I am going to Mayo to try and get more answers about the why? the migraine started to begin with. Hopefully they will do more extensive testing or having other ideas or who knows what! But it can’t hurt at this point! I am kind of excited about this journey.
This first group of pictures was from May 14th through May 19th…the nerve block was amazing!!!! It was so much fun to get my camera back out. These were the first pictures I took since January that weren’t on my iPhone.
The rest of the pictures from May were taken in Midland at my mom’s. These pics were from May 23rd the day after I had the Radio-frequency nerve root ablation and I was taking Toradol shots every 12 hours to keep all pain at bay. So once again I was able to get my camera out for a few minutes.
Happy Mothers Day ( and Grandmothers Day) to the greatest mom. I read Rachel Crowley (Loose) tribute to her mom and she nailed it. You stuck by my side through some major mother/daughter trials and stuck by my side through it all and let me work it out. I am so grateful you stuck by my side and have gotten to be an awesome Grandma. I Love you Sherry Dunne Weaver. And I am so very grateful for you especially over these past four months.
A big thank you to our day care provider Tammy for having the boys do this for me. I love them!
Me and my boys!!!
Thank goodness that I was able to enjoy a little bit of time with my family on Mother’s Day. My pain had returned to my baseline of 3 which I am able to cope with in the absence of major triggers.
