After much deliberation, I decided to get a pair of glasses specifically designed for migraine sufferers. And I got them today 😀. I could have definitely used them over the passed 72 hours during one of the worst migraine I have had. Three days in bed will be fun to recover from.
But I digress. I got glasses for indoor and outdoor. I had to buy the ones for over prescription glasses so they are not cute and a bit bulky but I am hoping it will help with screen time specifically. But also to be in the living room with natural light as well. I look forward to trying both the indoor and outdoor glasses. I am also curious to see if wearing them during my baseline New Daily Persistent Headaches (NDPH) will reduce eye pain.
On one of my better days, or on a day that I took enough medication that allowed me to do some things, we went over to the old house to do some cleaning, but the boys were with us and they just tended to get in the way. It was a beautiful day out so we decided to toss the slip and slide in because there is a hill at the old house. They had a blast!!! And we were able to get things done with out them under foot! Win/Win.
My little buddy giving massages while I rest. I could only do so much, which was hard because I wanted to be in helping and it was hard to just sit…but it was fun watching the boys on the slip and slide and hanging out!
We have have plans to go and hang out with Norm and Deb and their grand kids for a Pre Superbowl Party tonight. We never watch the Superbowl really, but we love to get together and the Superbowl was on a Sunday this year, so we just decided to get together on the day before and just play games and eat lots of food 🙂
But my headache continues, so I decided to take Vicodin because I know that it has always been good in the past and the Tylenol 3 wasn’t really working. On the drive over to Norm and Deb’s I was so nauseous. Apparently Vicodin was not a good choice. So for the first hour of the party I didn’t fell very well. Luckily I had Zofran for nausea in my purse. My headache finally got a bit better, or I just stopped caring about it and we had a great time.
Posting something other than stupid health stuff. Such cute kiddos!!
Snuggling with my buddy this morning while Dan takes Josiah swimming. Gideon says this is his “awesome smile”. Hehe so cute.
